Capital City BMX Association, Inc. (CCBMX) is a non-profit, volunteer run organization that promotes the sport of BMX racing for both the youth and older riders in and around the Raleigh area. CCBMX is run by a Board of Directors. The board members are elected by the general membership during the first (January) meeting of the year. Parents are invited to contact any of the board members to express their ideas and concerns. CCBMX is operated by the parents of the riders and adults who race at Lion's Park in Raleigh, NC. The organization is sanctioned by the American Bicycle Association, Chandler, Arizona. The program is also co-sponsored by the City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department.
CCBMX maintains a voice mail referred to as the HOTLINE. The phone number is easy to remember: (919) 834-4BMX (919-834-4269). It is important to call the HOTLINE for updated information on CCBMX racing and practice schedules.
All riders must hold a current license from the American Bicycle Association (ABA). A temporary ABA license is available for only $1. The full one year ABA license can be obtained for $45.00 and allows you to start earning points. You can print out the form from our website and bring it with you to help speed up the process. Those riders who are interested in trying out the track prior to registering may do so after completing a waiver, which must be signed by a parent or legal guardian (if under the age of 18). Also check out the Capital City BMX Going For The Gold Option to upgrade your membership and receive free practice!
Browse through our web site and then contact us by phone or e-mail.
